Textual Analysis
In order to gather information and develop our understanding on the different types of music videos, myself and Emily sat down and watched four music videos making brief notes a long the way. The notes we collected were then used to prompt us as we recorded out voices while watching the videos again. We spoke about the shot types, camera movement and miss-en-scene; this helped us to further out knowledge and gather ideas for how we may decide to produce our own music video.

Voice Recording
We felt that by doing a voice recording instead of a written analysis, we would be producing more raw and accurate analysis of the videos. We set up a microphone and played the each music video one by one while talking about what we saw and how it made us feel.
